Tulum restaurant review – La Gran Mosca Verde

Tulum restaurant review La Gran Mosca Verde

Feeling like a late night drink and some groovy cool music in Tulum? Well La Gran Mosca Verde (The Big Green Fly) is a cool, groovy place that admittedly is more of a bar than a restaurant. They open late, 6pm and stay open even later, til 2 am and your will find great drinks, cool people, DJ’s, music and a place to get down!

The hip, chic and funk is at Gran Mosca Verde and it is worth the late night visit to meet, greet, snack and hang out.

Cool decor is a reflection of this cool hang out

The first attraction to Gran Mosca Verde is the art decor. It is big, it is cool and worth a look. Once you review the art and check out the place, which is in the heart of Tulum town, you will want to check out a cocktail or two and chat with the visitors and residents that hang out there.

Cocktails and Tapas are the specialty at La Gran Mosca Verde

If you found this place in New York, Chicago, Paris or another other large international city, the bartender would be called a mixologist. In Tulum, they are still considered a bartender but the quality of the cocktails are as good as anywhere. There are no fancy titles here, just let your hair down, relax and enjoy.  The Tapas are innovative but the cocktails are the highlight. Add some great music, great art, friendly staff and eclectic client and you have the making of a great night in Tulum

Location, location, location in Tulum
