There are many great locations for a wedding on the beach in Tulum but very few places where a wedding party can get away from it all. Casa de las Olas is the place for the groom, the bride, the parents of the bride or the parents of the groom to stay at arms length of the wedding and still get the benefits of Tulum, the Tulum beach and the quiet environment that global visitors look for. No weddings allowed is the rule, but wedding parties are welcome!

Destination weddings are all the rage and we love going to them, supporting our guests when they have a destination wedding and celebrating in this wonderful ritual of the wedding. Weddings take a lot of energy for the bride, the guests, the parents and the families. Once the party is over, people need time to relax. Our no wedding rule does not make us unenthusiastic about weddings, quite the opposite actually, we are totally into the wedding process which is why we say, no weddings here. We want to create a wedding vacation destination where the bride and groom can chill and enjoy themselves after the work is done. The one day ceremony is a representation of what the rest of their lives will be. We want to share in the rest of your lives, not just the one day party!

The wedding planner works the day of your wedding, we work the next week for the bride, groom and anyone who wants to join them. This to us is more important than the one day celebration. This to us is a greater honor than the 6 hours it takes to exchange your vows. Many of our guests use our Tulum beach villa as their haven just before their destination wedding as they know we are here to support the process before the big day and after the big day! A wedding is a big day and everyone needs a little time to prepare for this. In fact we encourage it.
Weddings can be stressful and quiet time is important
Each wedding party member needs time to breathe. There is so much going on, so many people to talk to and sometimes a bit of quiet time can make the experience richer, deeper and more beautiful than it already is. Take the time and find a hotel or villa that provides that for you.
When booking your destination wedding think about the time before your wedding day, after your wedding day and what you envision that destination to be. It is as important as the day itself, and when you choose a quiet secluded and peaceful place, the day will be better than you ever imagined.
