Fabian is a local sailor that loves to share his passion for the ocean through private historical ocean tours that provides not only a water adventure but a historical perspective of the flora and fauna that live off the shores of Tulum. His 25 foot Catamara is his platform to explore, share and inspire visitors about Mexican history through stories of and experiences in the ocean. Fabian grew up on the coast of Quintana Roo as a child, working with his father who made a living as a boat captain on wooden hand made boats. His passion for history and the ocean resulted in him moving to Mexico City to study marine anthropolgy. He returned to Tulum to share his knowledge with people who want to learn more about the ocean through sailing tours.

The sailing tours are private, with one captain and up to three passengers. You will be picked up in front of Casa de las Olas on the beach, fitted with snorkel gear and swept out for the ride of your life. Fabian will determine with guests the best route for the day and will base this route not on a cookie cutter tour route but a determine a personal route based on your interests.
The tour is a sustainable tour powered by wind and desire, with an outboard motor available for safety. The catamaran is equipped with all necessary safety equipment and sailing experience is not required. Fabian will look after that but will share his sailing knowledge with curious guests.
